Reconciling in Christ Sunday
Join us in worship on September 14th for our annual Reconciling in Christ Sunday. Since 1983, the Reconciling in Christ (RIC) program has been a public way for faith communitiesto celebrate and advocate for people of the LGBTQIA+ community in the Lutheran church. The RIC program is made up of congregations, synods, colleges, seminaries, outdoor ministries, and other Lutheran organizations and is a meaningful way for us at Emmanuel to live out our core value of inclusivity. Weekly Worship Service
We Invite You to Join Us for Worship Emmanuel Lutheran Church is a community that joyfully welcomes seekers and believers at worship, at study, at fellowship, and in service to others. We teach and believe that God’s most astounding characteristic is God’s extraordinary love for all people- a love that was lived out in Jesus’ death and resurrection and a…
Faith in Public
You are invited each week to join us as we gather to reflect on the Bible texts for the upcoming Sunday worship. We meet on Wednesdays at 6:30 p.m. at Real Kitchen on Lexington Avenue. (Come early if you want to grab some dinner.) Our time is filled with more questions than answers, so no Bible experts are needed.
Community Connect
Join us Tuesday evening, September 23rd for our newest ministry, “Community Connect,” beginning at 6:30 pm. We will gather at the Stock + Grain Assembly Food Hall, where we can fellowship with one another and engage with our High Point community. This ministry is part of a new approach to fellowship and community engagement where we seek to gather at different times and different days to better welcome all to live out God’s love with us.
