Community Connect
Join us Tuesday evening, September 23rd for our newest ministry, “Community Connect,” beginning at 6:30 pm. We will gather at the Stock + Grain Assembly Food Hall, where we can fellowship with one another and engage with our High Point community. This ministry is part of a new approach to fellowship and community engagement where we seek to gather at different times and different days to better welcome all to live out God’s love with us.

Reconciling in Christ Sunday
Join us in worship on September 14th for our annual Reconciling in Christ Sunday. Since 1983, the Reconciling in Christ (RIC) program has been a public way for faith communitiesto celebrate and advocate for people of the LGBTQIA+ community in the Lutheran church. On Sunday, Sep. 7th the “Northwood Faith Partners” are again inviting community members to meet at 3:00 pm to offer prayers for the students and staff who are starting a new school year. The Northwood Faith Partners are a multi-denominational group of congregations who work together to support Northwood Elementary and currently includes: Emerywood Baptist, Emmanuel Lutheran, First United Methodist, Forest Hills Presbyterian, Green Street Baptist, and Immanuel Presbyterian. High Point Rockers Baseball Game
Join us at the High Point Rockers game next Sunday, August 24th, at 4:00 pm! Tickets are $8, and donations can be made to Emmanuel in the usual way you give your offering.
